Carmen SanDiego
I never stopped to wonder—was there a reward for catching her, or was it all for the thrill of the chase?
I love a good chase, whether it’s for the right word or the perfect whiskey.
She’s a writer. Of course, she has a manifesto.
Heart Projects
I write a weekly Substack newsletter sharing my take as a Californian in Cagliari, Sardinia. Part cultural observation, part existential sunburn.
Selected as one of 280 women entrepreneurs across Europe for The Break—a fellowship for women who believe that business can be both ambitious and human.
I spoke at the Forward Festival, Tag der Kommunikation, and Creative Mornings about building creative work between cultures, countries (and unexpected coffee breaks).
Approach
Strategic
I don’t believe in ideas for ideas’ sake. Every concept I build starts with insight—something true about the brand, the audience, or the moment we’re in. I like ideas that are clear enough to travel, clever enough to remember, and simple enough to work anywhere.
Empathetic
Human to human, always. I’m drawn to stories that reflect the complexity and contradictions of real life—the kind that remind us we’re all just trying to make sense of it together. The best work, to me, changes what (and who) society thinks of as “normal.”
Open
Curiosity is my default setting. I’m most excited when I’m exposed to different kinds of thinking—people who think differently, projects that stretch me, places that surprise me. I believe that openness to new things keeps the work interesting.
Adaptable
I do well in motion. Whether the brief shifts, the roles blur, or the deadline moves up (again), I know how to find the rhythm and keep the work moving. I can lead, collaborate, or dive in solo—whatever the moment calls for.
