Congratulations!
You’ve found
Carmen SanDiego
I never stopped to wonder—was there a reward for catching her, or was it all for the thrill of the chase?
I love a good chase, whether it’s for the right word or the perfect whiskey.
She’s a writer. Of course, she has a manifesto.
Heart Projects
A Californian's take on Sardinia—long-form essays on Substack (+ weekly dispatches on Instagram). Part cultural observation, part existential sunburn.
Selected as one of 280 European female founders for The Break — an EU grant for Worldify, my app helping expats actually survive the German bureaucracy.
Featured speaker at the Forward Festival, Tag der Kommunikation, and Creative Mornings on building creative work between cultures, countries (and coffee breaks).
Approach
Insights-Driven
The idea has to be pretty and have a point. Which means every brief starts with why before it gets to how—because creative for creative's sake doesn't actually do anything for anyone.
Human-First
Human to human, always. I’m drawn to stories that reflect the complexity and contradictions of real life—the kind that remind us we’re all just trying to make sense of it together. The best work, to me, changes what (and who) society thinks of as “normal.”
Culturally-Savvy
Worked everywhere, which means I can work with anyone. Every room has its own frequency. The job is to pick it up fast and write like you've always been in it.
Pressure-Tested
I love a challenge. Whether the brief shifts, the roles blur, the deadline changes (again), or the client wants just one more thing before EOD, I know how to find the rhythm and keep the work moving. I can lead, collaborate, or dive in solo—whatever the moment calls for.
